Terms of Service

The following applies to the commissioned work of Tori also known as Lefuulei-Art.

Expectations

As my client you have a right to certain expectations and as someone providing a service to you I also have a right to certain expectations. I will do my best to treat you with the utmost care. This includes but is not limited to: replying to emails courteously and promptly, providing updates when requested and working with you to ensure your work is to your liking. But as such I also expect you to be kind, courteous and patient with me. I am expecting that you will be honest when it comes to making changes to your commission and letting me know as soon as possible if a change needs to be made.

Content

I have certain strengths and certain weaknesses when it comes to art. That said, I will work within those strengths as I do not wish to provide you with a product that I'm not happy with.I will draw the following:
-Canon Characters
-Original Characters (With some form of visual reference)
-Consenting NSFW between two (or more) adults (Available to 18+ only)
-Humans with animal features (cat ears, tails, wings, etc.)
-Characters with disabilities
-Certain levels of gore/injuryI will NOT draw the following:
-Animals
-Furries (Not available at this time)
-Mecha or heavy machinery or automobiles
-non-consenting NSFW
-Child pornography or any art depicting minors involved in sexual acts or looking promiscuous
-Up to the discretion of the artist

Use of Work & Copyrights

As the artist, I retain all copyright holdings to the artwork. I am free to use your artwork for advertising purposes and portfolio purposes. As the client, you retain the right to use the work I create for you in any Non-commercial purposes unless otherwise discussed. You may post the artwork to any media you would like as long as you do not have a monetary gain from doing so.To buy full rights to the work there will be a 25% upcharge.

Proofs

All proofs sent to you will be watermarked with "DRAFT" until final payment is received. I will not remove these watermarks until final payment is received and the client agrees the work is completed.As the client, you are responsible for letting me know of any changes you would like made within 3 days of receiving the proof. Even if you approve it in less time, I will wait for 3 days before continuing in case you should change your mind.

Edits to Work

You may not edit my work. Anyone found doing so will be banned from commissioning me again.

Files

I will provide you a high quality PNG file and a medium quality jpeg file for posting online. PSD/Sai files are available on request. Additional images in specific file types can be provided on request. (i.e. for resizing, better or lower quality, etc.)

Timeline

I will contact you via email within 5 days letting you know if your commission is accepted or not. At this time, we will discuss the work further before I invoice you.Your first Invoice will be for 50% of the total. Invoices are expected to be paid within 5 business days unless otherwise discussed. I will not begin work until the invoice is paid.My goal is to have the first proof to you within 2 weeks of initial payment. However I understand that my mental illness can sometimes get in the way and I will do my best to communicate with you if there will be a delay.
That said, I will provide a proof to you at each stage: Cleaned Sketch, Line art, Flats and a Final Proof. Again, I will attempt to get these to you within two weeks of approval to continue.As the client, you are responsible for letting me know of any changes you would like made within 3 days of receiving the proof. Even if you approve it in less time, I will wait for 3 days before continuing in case you should change your mind.

Payment And Refunds

My payment policy attempts to be flexible to meet both my needs and your needs. As such, all orders $50 and under will require 100% payment upfront. Orders over $50 will be invoiced 50% upfront and 50% at the final proof. It is expected, however, that you are able to pay for the full order at the time of ordering. Tipping is entirely optional.Refunds are available for the following reasons: I am unable to complete the work within 6 months of the order date, I deem that I am unable to complete the order as requested or the changes the client requests are deemed to add enough excess work to qualify an entire new order.If I have already begun work and provided proofs when a refund has been determined necessary then the client will receive a partial refund up to 50% of the total invoiced order.
If no work has been done, the client will receive a full 100% refund.
